Default Power slideing.

My wife and I went to breakfast in the red sled. On the way we got stuck in the left hand lane behind a truck waiting to turn left while everybody in the right hand lane was moving right along. I asked her to tell me when it was clear. She said go now so I punched it and power slid right around the truck and it was totally controllable. The poly bushings really make a huge difference in the handling. They may be stiff but make controlling the car in hard cornering a breeze. I must admit though that I found a big empty parking lot a few weekends ago and have been practicing power sliding around corners and with some practice have gotten pretty good at using the break in conjunction with acceleration to control how tight I need to make a corner. The gforce that it creates feels awesome. I feel so much more in control of the car than before. But if you do it to much you will go through tires big time. But Damn its a hell of a lot of fun.

She didn't even look up. Just kept texting to her buddies. My (at times) radical driving doesn't faze her anymore.

I agree on the bushings.

Big difference.

Rich,

It sounds like you are ready to come to "Drifter" country here in Japan....

I too have found that ZR-1s are pretty easy to "drift". Fun isn't it.
