Default I met a great ZR-1 guy today.

Today I drove over to visit Mr Ted Zaleski. He's been in the ZR-1 game a very long time. He does all his own work on his like allot of us do. But he's also been road racing them for years in the silver state classic and Sand Hills. He's also totaled a couple of them road racing.
When I pulled up to his house there were two parked out front under car covers all 90's. A black one and a polo green one. Then there were three more in his four car garage. Two more black ones and one red. Not to mention his 2009 black ZR1. Also 2 four post lifts and the small machine shop he's added on to his garage. He also has a fully built 368to he's gonna put into the red 90. He says that will be the last C4 ZR-1 he will ever build up for open road racing. From now on he will be racing his new ZR1. He's already got the competition seats and a roll cage for it along with his own fabricated seat mounts. I took some short vids. I wish I could have taken more. This vid is of the ZR-1 that he's most recently taken to the sliver state classic.

This is the 368 he's putting in the red car for road racing.

Im glad I met Ted. He's the kinda friend to have. Very knowledgeable.

Ted's an awesome guy. I swapped my stock rear for his 4:10s. We did all the work in his cool garage.

Pardon my expressing this observation.....I know it sounds corny & all, but did ya ever notice how "car guys" are just the realist people you meet? They just have this willingness to share any info & have a 'We can do this', or that 'oh yea I can help you with that' attitude.

It never stops amazing me how this seems to be mostly true.
