Hi All:

This will be my second Carlisle event (last year I attended with my Son-in-law; Friday only...). The cool thing that happened to me last year was running into ZR-1 Net Registry and WAZOO! Now I'm hooked! This year I am coming for the whole experience and weekend.

Anyone have any suggestions on making the weekend better (bring x, don't bring y, etc...)?

Paul,
I always bring a bag chair and extra beer if your a beer guy. Buying adult beverages up there can be a challange...can't just swing into a seven-11.

Be sure to bring a camera. There will be lots of good photo opportunities.

Bring your wish list of parts and supplies. There will be lots of vendors and flea market dealers.

Hang out at the Registry Tent, but don't miss the chance to walk around and see the sights.

If you have never met Gordon Killebrew, be sure to attend his Q&A session.

Unfortunatly I will be bringing the minivan to deliver a bumper to blue flame restorations. So if anyone around needs me to drive something back that won't fit in thier Vette to North Va (or wherever you want to drive to my place from) I can do so. I'll only be there Saturday BTW. 703-434-0671

C A R L I S L E... Not just a car show, it's an event! A Destination!

I had a GREAT time in Carlisle! Met a TON of great new people. Of course the weekend was also a time to talk and listen with many I had already met!

I learned a bunch! Met some of the "names" in ZR-1 land.

WoN the Fuel Injector Drawing (I did sort of tilt the odds in my favor buying LOTS of tickets)!

Wish the Huricane hadn't of happened...
