I've had difficulty finding the Castrol TWS recommended for the transmission and since I use Amsoil for the engine I thought I'd ask if they had an equivalent.
They recommend using their synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle oil (Code: MCS) - http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mcs.aspx Just for information. Dave

I got the 60w TWS oil from a BMW dealer. Additionally, the Amsoil synchromesh trans oil also shifts fine. They don't list a weight, but it used to be labeled as a 5w-30.

Nearest BMW dealer is about 3 or 4 hours south of me and Bill would involve me importing the damn stuff. I can order Amsoil online and have it the following day. Just wanted to share the info for others who might have similar problems getting the other stuff.
