Thumbs up WTB: 1990 ZR-1, will only consider WHITE

Hi all,

I'm looking for a 1990 ZR-1. I'm only looking for white cars and would prefer red interior. Not looking for a world's lowest mileage collectors dream, but a solid driver with good history.

I'm also looking for a 2001 Speedway white Z06 and have only room for one car, so which ever I'll find first I'll buy.

Best way to contact me is via email jay (at) c3-r.com

Thanks.

Cant blame you for liking that color. Good luck with your search. I flew out to Houston to pick mine up. I bought a 91 but there is something about the blackbelt line on those 90Zs that make them stand out.

Thanks, I sure like them all but for whatever reason I have my mind set on the first production year with the color combo from the first ever Corvette. I think they got it right the first time.

Before I got my Z, white corvettes didn't do much for me. I didn't dislike them, but they weren't my favorite either. But after having owned my white Z for awhile, it grew on me and now I think the white corvettes look really good!

Funny how actually owning something can change your opinion of it.

Just to give you an idea, there were a total of 129 white 1990 ZR-1's made. And out of that number, there were 66 white/red 1990 ZR-1's made. With some not for sale (like mine) and some others wrecked/totaled (like the one pictured below), the number of available white/red 90 Z's is going to obviously be less than that 66.

White cars out in AZ just make sense. Black is one of the best looking colors but my god after owning a black truck I swear to god I could see it getting dirty again mins after just washing it lol

Thanks for the reply, I've been around Corvettes all my life and ever since I got my drivers license I've had at least one (currently have 4). I was aware that there was only 66 white/red cars made back in 1990 and that is one thing that makes me want one even more. It's the same thing why I would want a Speedway white Z06 with mod red interior, they only made 137 of those...

I love what you are doing with your white car, I've been following the project closely online. Very inspiring stuff!

being a white zr1 owner allthough not a 90. mine a 92 white /red and it being a callaway 475 supernatural that there were less than 20 made make me feel like one of the luckiest guys in the world . my buddys call her Farrah as she grabs all the atten where ever she goes . i do love my black/red 90 but like darrell says 5 minutes after washing her she dirty again . another reason that i love white . good luck in your quest, one will find you . it allways seems to work that way .

Good choice with the white, I sold my red ZR-1 just to buy my white one!
