Car Purchase Scam - Beware - ZR-1 Net Registry Forums

A friend of mine just told me about a car for sale scam that has struck quite a few people. Here is the info that she passed on to me.

Car and Truck scam:

Teresa.carrillo@comcast.net........advertises cars and trucks through the newspapers and Craigslist. Almost always the same info. She is divorced, received car or truck from the divorce. Doesn't need or it want it. Selling very cheap. Is shipping from Jefferson City, Mo........Going thru PayPal (this is NOT the real Paypal).......Call 1-877-660-0734 - PayPal Representative....(this is NOT a legitimate number).......Uses several different names and e-mail addresses......telephone # 573-298-4807. Answers the phone until you call about non delivery, then she hangs up........ DO NOT ANSWER ANY ADS THAT SOUND LIKE THIS.... IT'S A SCAM..... If you google 573-298-4807 you will find 7 pages of people either scammed or almost scammed...........

I was not involved in the transaction. Just a heads up that there are a lot of crooks out there.
