New Project
Some of you may have noticed I have been absent from the Forum for awhile now. I have a new project that has taken away from the ZR-1 for awhile. The Z is sleeping for the winter so this new car has been taking some time to get squared away.
    Motor Before   1972 Nova, 89,000 original miles. dark green Lambo paint with grey/black interior. 355CI SBC with Scat bottom end, Performer Air Gap, had a 750Vac Sec Holley and 125 shot NOS. NOS removed and carb replaced with a Holley Street HP 750 DP. Original Hughes 2000 Stall Convertor (For Sale) replaced with 3500 Stall Boss Hog convertor. Those two changes alone and the car is a different animal now. Needs some tuning though and will headed for the Dyno in March. Soon to come, March Serpentine belt system and adding power steering at the same time. This car with the NOS ran 11.60's at Arm Drop Live in Boise last year. Should run low 13's high 12's NA now. |
