I visited the Arizona Memorial a couple of years ago and it gives off a real vibe of hallowed ground, like Gettysburg. I was also stationed in the PI and Okinawa back in the mid 60's and toured some of the battlefields there. Almost a half million Americans gave all they had to win that war and they should not be forgotten! Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for the post Frank. Those are some of the best war photos I have ever seen. The power and force that the US projected in the Pacific while also fighting in Europe was an awesome thing.
