Can anyone provide a good photo and key dimensions of the Kent-Moore J 41009 Can Tensioner Unloader Tool?

Wow Phil, How long after you finish your project until other ZR-1 fellers start sending their cars to the WAZOO crew? You will have all the tools needed for anything. It might not be a bad retirement plan for us huh?

need some help...
Unloader tool ?? you mean a punch to knock the tensioner free from the locked setting after it has been installed in the head? Sorry someone has my book and I dont have a tool to look at for what a J 41009 is. |

Craig kindly borrowed me his tensioner release tool and the results are on the left:
 After discussing with Craig and reading the MH write up on cam timing http://www.zr1specialist.com/HAT%20W..._camshafts.htm I elected to increase the pin diameter to just under the plug hole size in the tensioner housing. The ring is from key chain I had laying around. Thanks Craig for helping me out. Phil |
