Got the first real chance to spend some time reassembling the latest FBI monster since getting the engine back. Ami bought me one of those big 36" fans that really tames that garage. (No more sweat-box like Lee and I experienced when taking the engine out last summer!!)
The engine dropped right in, new Fidanza/clutch, trans bolted up...except for the plethora of connections and brittle convoluted wire wrap tubes, it (so far...knock on wood) is piecing together pretty well. (not even missing any bolts...yet.) Still have a wayz to go - need to rebuild my starter (got the kit last week), needs a new trans output seal - that kind of thing. But! Barring any surprises, maybe I'll get to turn the key this w/e. (fingers crossed) ![]() Wish me luck! P. |
