Opinions needed.

I just ordered a Spec stage 3 plus clutch kit. And I've got the credit card in my hand ready to order the prothane bushing kit. I called my buddy that owns Vetttec performance shop and asked him about putting poly eurothane on the car and he said it's way to stiff for the street. He said I drag race not road race and will never put them on my vette. Opinions please.

I'm curious about this too, not sure if I should just go with Moog rubber parts, or if it's worthwhile to go with poly. ...

If poly makes the car handle better but the price you pay is a super stiff ride I'm ok with that. It's not a daily driver so my kidneys will only take a beating on the weekends.

I'm sure others will chime in, but there's also the concern about squeaks with the polyurethane bushings.

I have the lowers in the front converted so far.
The uppers will get the treatment soon before I take it in for alignment.
Seems tighter for sure even without the tops done.
When the FX3 is in "sport" it rattles my teeth but that's ok.

I have done the poly in other cars I have owned, and they will creak and groan enough to make you wish you had stockers UNLESS you add zerk fittings to keep them greased. Adding the fittings and a little grease makes worlds or difference, and makes the poly a very worthwhile mod. If you don't add the fittings, dont do the poly

Not that my reply will be of any help, but I know I've read a post about poly bushings & there was a specific brand mentioned which no one had squeaks from, and that was a major theme running through the post.

Rick i have done Energy Suspension polys on my Z and couple of other Z's i will say car feels more stable.
They came with some kind of grease,non have squeaks.

I also had concerns about ride quality but it's not as bad as i thought it would be.

I think you will like the pros more then the cons.

Okay, one more as a fwiw from the peanut gallery.

I did my front end over last winter. I used the end link kit and the sway bar to cross member kit from Vette Brakes & Products. I believe that those parts are polyurethane replacement bushings. I bought extra grease packets because all the threads I read had said you need plenty of grease, more than what they send you with the kits?

I did 5k miles last summer on them and for sure the front end of the car is really talking to me now. It feels like I have more control, faster response to inputs. Now, I was doing all four A-frames because of ball joint boot issues as a safety thing. I used stock replacement A-frames from corvette recycling, so they have the OE rubber in them. Now the down side, the front is harsher than the rear now. Too harsh for where I live & the road conditions in NYC/suburbs. On smooth roads it's sweet, on bad roads it's much worse than with the OEM stuff. I can't stress enough that mine is a hi-bird of OE rubber and poly....I can't imagine what it would be like if I did the A-frame bushings in poly! Okay, I'm old, too!

I just did the entire rear of the car in poly bushings when I installed my 4.10. I chose bushings from PST, they are the only ones that advertise bushings impregnated with graphite to minimize squeeking. I used lots of the supplied grease in the assembly. So far the queeking has been very minimal. My front sway bar bushings were replaced 2 years ago when I put the 32mm bar in (they came with the bar). I had to lube them once a year to not have a squeek. I just now installed zirk fittings to make lubing easier.

The ride is firmer than original, as would be expected. I would not say it's harsh, a bit more bouncy maybe. I find I actually turn the FX3 setting one level higher than before when driving around town. The roads here in SoCal are only a shade better than NY.
