Apparently do not work....
here is direct bolt up: ![]() here is an added 2.37mm: ![]() the corner edge of the caliper is catching on the center section of the wheel.. a 2.37mm washer works for clearance and I was thinking of a 5mm Spacer.. but is that enough? or will I be better off looking for J55 Calipers again.. Anyone have any J55 Calipers and Abutment brackets? I found a good price on Rotors and would get new pads..

You need to ask Al about that, if I recall he unbolted the centers and turned them around somehow.

Hans,
I think Al has Wilwood brakes. Jeff, I still have my old calipers. |

I talked to Al already about this, moving the center section to the outside will make it worse for me.
Dominic, How much for the Calipers and Brackets, as much is I would like to keep the C5 brakes, I am thinking that maybe the OEM will cause less headaches I found a deal on Rotors, I just need Calipers and Abutment brackets

I see... can you use a spacer (adapter) to move the wheel farther out?

I bought a set of 5mm Spacers as the 2.37mm washers I tried allow for clearance.. so I thought 5mm should be good, but how much movement occurs with the wheels turning and caliper float... since the Shelby wheels are designed for the J55s maybe I need to swap back.. then sell the C5 stuff.. 1 step forward but 2 steps back ugh..

Unbolt the wheel centers and move then from inboard to outboard, add a 1/4in spacer = problem solved. Looks like this and clears my 4 piston Alcons no problem.

Rob,
what purpose does moving the center to the outside do for the clearance? is it because you are moving them out it keep them from sticking out? I have .310" spacers and ordered .200" spacers. I was going to try the .200" spacers first With either will I need longer studs?
