Default Fuel Filler Cap..OEM???

Could someone post a picture of the fuel tank OEM cap as you would see it when you open the fuel filler hatch. Not convinced mine is original, but rather a replacement. Is there any telling marks etc on the OEM version?

Thanks

Well...based on Rich's pics (and thank you for posting!) it appears I have an OEM cap after all....what threw me was the little 's' on the cap...
Whew...guess I can still consider NCRS

Hi Michael, Take your cap off and look at the very last thread by the edge it should have a julian date code on it. Also from your picture it is a 90 cap. As for the person who posted the picture of his 92 cap it is wrong it's a 90.

Michael Join the NCRS and get the 1990-1991 Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide. Don't think twice about your car, it will top flight with out any problem. You have one of the best examples of a 1990 ZR-1 on the planet.

I didn't say the cap was a '92, I said, "This is from my '92." Right wrong or otherwise, the gas cap on my 1992 Yellow/Black ZR-1 #031, built in September 1991 is the original gas cap that was shipped with the car. The date code is 2 401. It wouldn't surprise me if the cap was made in 1990. Every 93, 94, & 95 ZR-1 had an engine that was built no later than 1993.

Rich
P.S. Julian should be capitalized.
