Sounds like a cold temperature leak to me.... often associated with a loose clamp. I had pretty much the same situation... took a bit to nail down, but I found a loose clamp, gave it a twist and its been fixed for months. Coolant can travel down hoses and parts of the engine and under carriage which will lead you to believe the source is in one place, but actually it will be in a totally different spot.

One word of caution. If you use pressure test tool, do not over-pressurize the system. I would stay below 15 psi.
Over-pressurization could lead to heater core failure and a few of us believe the heater core is GM part number 000001 - very first to be bolted onto the chassis. Heater core replacement is not a fun work.

Very good advice, ask me how I know..................took a whole Wazoo maintenance day to fix mine. Not a fun project at all.

On my '90 I would notice a few drips of coolant from front center after sitting overnight. Seemed like the cooler the weather the larger the leak.
First thought was water pump, but weep hole showed no signs of leakage.
Found several water pump mounting bolts loose. Torqued to speck and no more leakage. Been about a year with all well.
On another note, I had a few small oil leaks. All were corrected by correctly torquing nuts & bolts. You would be surprised how many fasteners are loose after 30 years!
