Cool tail lights

Ok...i don't know..why...or actually remember when..but...
i was thinkin...and now i have a headache..
anyway..someone.. it could've been Locobob
{who i hate cause he's got stomach muscle's}
was talking about...un-recessed tail lights?
you know the kind right, well....i'd like a pair please..
so someone..buy em for me...and send em UPS
or not...or just send me information....that is all

AHHHHHHHHH the secret to non resesed tail lights . go buy extra taillight gaskets and long screws. what I did is ad gaskets till i got em where i wanted them then glued the gaskets together with weatherstrip glue and put them on for that way cool look. hope that helps

Mine are still recessed, but have slotted covers.

do you need to extend the wires at all or just double up the gasket?

you want to just use extra gaskets and some longer screws. what i did is glued 4 gaskets together then trimed them to so that they sat flush with the slope of the back . It take a little trial and error but the end result is very cool. opps left this out you are just extending the lenses out

My tail lights are the euro style which fit more flush to begin with. I then added some rubber washers between the housings and the bumper until I was happy with the look. I added more to one side of the housing than the other to even out the angle of the lights in the bezels. Longer bolts were required. You could also increase the gasket thickness between the housing and the lense as noted above, on the euro lights you would have to fill in the center divider or the light would bleed through between the red and amber sections. I think you'd have one hell of a thick gasket to bring them out as far as I did though. Here's a pic for you Keith.
