Default Codes.

Im very happy with the work the body shop did but I noticed the car was running kinda rough when pulling out of the body shop. And almost didnt run at all when starting it up to leave work. So natually I pulled the codes when I got home. H32 34 36 38 74. I suspect all the codes in the 30's are banks. Just don't have an SFM to confirm it.

Any chance they blew off the map sensor hose?

Code 36 indicates a direct ignition system circuit fault.

As soon as this happened the first thing that came to mind was that I have been having a coolant leak thats been draining out the valley drain tube on to the floor. When I put the top end back together a year ago I noticed the drivers side injector housing to head gasket had a cut on it all the way through one side. But I figured if I put some 518 on it and torqued it down it would be ok. But if its leaking a little coolant into that cylinder than that could cause this to. I'll pull the spark plugs on that side and take a llok at them. I've got no choice. I have to pull the top end off to see where this leak is coming from and just fix it. And this may have nothing to do with the way its running. It may just be coincedence that after I got it back from the body shop my radio is dead and all these codes popped up and the car runs the same way as they do when the map sensor is unpluged but not near as bad as when the map sensors unpluged.

could it have dropped a coil pack? Maybe a plug wire is loose? Dont forget to check the easy things first.

Radio dead too? Sounds like a bad fuse or ground. If you ahve a FSM you might check to see what else is on that circuit....or a common fuse/ground.

About 6 months ago my dash display with the tac/speedo light would get bright then really dim and sometimes the radio would pop and crack but not often. I always check the easy stuff first. But for this to just happen all of a sudden. But a coil pack can go out all of a sudden. And so can an injector so we will see.
