Re: "reserve" fuel level

Whole new unit. I actually replaced it so I could see how much fuel I had left as it wouldn't read before.

It's reading now, I'm just concerned with the 2 "issues" what the deal is. Something...

Re: "reserve" fuel level

It's a brand new pump. Since it's been in, it turns over much longer before it starts and it tells me it's almost empty with 5 gallons left. Trying to figure out what I did wrong

If the tank is 20 gallons, should my fuel gauge be reading reserve with 5 gallons left?

Re: Really high oil temp.

Ok. So I bought the sensor and found where it goes. I was reading on another form and it was stated that it requires a special wrench to do this? It doesn't seem all that awful to get to if you take...

Re: Really high oil temp.

I'm assuming that changing the oil temp sensor is a plug and play deal if it's just right near the filter.

I've already made the decision to get it to haibeck come spring. There are just too many...

Re: Really high oil temp.

I didn't look at the exact coolant temp but the gauge indicated it was perfectly normal. Coolant wasn't anywhere near overheating

Re: Really high oil temp.

I assume that's the little radiator right under the nose of the car? What if there is nothing blocking it or wrong with it

Really high oil temp.

Today's question.

We all decided to go for a cruise today to some of our favorite roads in WI. It was hot today. 90 plus and THICK. Soupy thick. It ran fine at peppy cruising speeds but after 15...

Re: Sigh.... Help. Can you identify this bolt

No worries. That explanation helps out a ton. I have to find a hole that's missing a bolt where the manifold and block meet.

I'm getting the feeling I need an expert to give this thing a once...

Re: Sigh.... Help. Can you identify this bolt

Before I ask this, I want to apologize for my ignorance on the topic...

I assume that's at the end opposite the engine block....

Sigh.... Help. Can you identify this bolt

As some of you know, I recently sent the yellow car in for some surgery. I got it back and everything seemed good (though slightly slower....could be in my head)....

Fast forward to today... Out...

(ABS)/ASR service under hard acceleration

So..... Let's see about this one...

Under hard acceleration sometimes the brake warning light will come on. If you let off it goes away, however if you stay in it because some goofy Porsche wants...

Re: 2 fuel pressure regulator in under 30k?

Welp... All is well again. No stutter during acceleration. It's good to have it back. It was almost not fun to drive for a minute.....

Almost.

Fun fact, apparently under the intake, a mouse...

Re: 2 fuel pressure regulator in under 30k?

No smell or fire.

I generally do as much as I can but I don't know enough about plenum removal.

Re: Photoshoot with a Crystal Red ZR1 cousin
