It really depends on what color you start with, in my case putting a transparent yellow over red required the need of a white sealer, if the car would have been black or white originaly it might be possible to just scuff and paint. It also depends on condition of the existing paint; mine was perfect so no real need for any kind of surface work that would have required a building type primer to smooth out imperfections. Sounds like we should have traded if you are painting a yellow car another color :)

Wow, that is beautiful! For a total color change, it looks like you were thorough. We definitely need more pictures!

Nice job....Like how the body side moulding and tinted top breaks it up..
