For those that run after market wheels, what do you do about the tire pressure sensors?
Do you recommend re-installing them with new rims? If not using them will that set the light off on the DTC on a 1994? :happy1:

You can pull the bulb and most will say you don't need the sensors....
Sensors are hard to come by and can be very expensive.
What kind of wheels are you thinking of going with?
cheers

Some Fiskes came with the car along with the A molds.

As stated most remove them. On the MY 90-91 you can pull the sensors and not see the service LTPWS light. On a 94 your only open is a piece of black electrical tape or to pull the blub as suggested.

Those "things" are worthless now, probably worth no more than a tenner each. You take paypal? ;)

Little update......
I put the Fiskes on with the Kumho ECSTA'S and no TPS light! I purposely left the tire pressure sensors off. Makes me wonder if the system wasn't working in the first place?

Maybe the previous owner pulled the bulb. Turn the ignition key to the ON position but do not start the car. Look at the Driver Information Center lights. Top row, second from the right is the "Service LTPWS" light. If you don't see it, the bulb is out.

I'll check the DTC, the light does come on when I start the car. So like others have said maybe it will light up soon. The "Big City Nights" will have to wait until I get the CD player fixed! :(
