View Full Version : Is is a Cormaro, or a Camette? Either way, why would you do that to a corvette?

It's a "350 FU" ;)
I like it , especially the duct tape on the rear lid.
Someone ought to find that guy and throw him a beatin.

I may be in the minority here, but if it was done right, it would've been a nice replicar. As we all (obviously) know, C4 Corvettes make great drivers that people can base concepts upon. If the guy didn't redneck it out with shoddy workmanship, that might be a decent looking "Camaro" that drives well too.
Disclaimer: I in no way endorse cutting up Corvettes, regardless of the use, whether it was that C4-C5 conversion kit  that was in vogue in the early 2000s or even that Mongoose GTP. But just like Mustang owners that cringe at the thought of perfectly usable 5.0s being cut up for Cobra replicas, you can't argue with the end result of a decent replicar.

Somebodies been hitting the bong to hard. It just looks like a clash of 70's & 80's. There's no smooth transitional lines to nicely fuse them together. It's just a bad Clash.:thumbsdo:

It just does not work!
Clash is a good description.
Much better to have found another Vette front end and stay all 80's Vette.
It would be like trying to put a C3 front end on it -- it just won't work well.
