I'm also gonna take a few laps tonight in the new car at Firebird in Boise. In Portland at the Gathering, I ran a best of 13.16 @ 109. Had a couple of 111 MPH trap speeds on other runs. The car was also dynoed at 329 RWHP there. I'll post the results tomorrow.

The results from last night:
1st Run 13.904 @ 104.40 2.304 60 Ft (Spun badly)
2nd Run 13.509 @ 107.28 2.262 60 Ft (Still Spinning a bit)
3rd Run 13.440 @ 108.17 2.243 60 Ft (Not bad but still spun)
4th Run 13.637 @ 107.19 2.267 60 Ft (Same deal)
That's all for now. I'm pretty happy with the 13.44 and the 108 trap speed. Traps on #458 were around 105-106 stock. I think this car may run better than the "old" one and I have at least 6 bad injectors right now.
I may replace injectors and put the Flowmaster on for the next time out.

Nah, nobody runs air at these events. 60's have always sucked, even on the "old" one. Until I put the HP to it, even then the best I ever got was a 1.92. Gears would change them though, as long as the tires stuck anyway.

Drivetrain stuff is cheap to fix. The motor is the expensive part. Nice cars you have, I'd have to run them for sure. Unless that gal was around, then I'd be too busy to run them. :worship:

[quote=Hammer best I ever got was a 1.92. [/quote]1.92 is great:thumbsup: whatever you can gain to 60' is generaly worth double on the top end. ssooo take 3/tenths off your 2.26's & it's easily ½ second on the top end. 60's are the key, no doubt:pray

Track prep is a key too. I don't think it was as good as it has been at these events. I pop the clutch, maybe I need to try feathering it a bit. No more T&T's this year to try that.
