Just curious..where does the your (obviously the ZR-1) oil pressure guage sit when first start up? After warm up at idle? and at lets say 4K rpm? Mine seems to sit at about 3/4 up on the guage constant except at higher rpms a couple ticks below 80. New oil, filter etc so am just wondering if the gauage reading is the normal mode?

Haven't ran mine for about a month:cry: but seems hot it's about 40 at idle and 60 to 70 at anything above idle, mine was running just a hair under 80 all the time , it was the transmitter which I've heard is a common problem if it's the original one, if there's oil in the electrical connection like mine had it's bad for sure, could screw a mechanical indicator in if your not sure if it's accurate incase there's nothing wrong.

It's just inboard of the right water outlet pipe on the oil filter adapter sitting vertical, plug is easy to pull off and look for oil, one of the easiest things to get to.
