Does anyone have a picture of the coolant bypass installed that Marc sells? I bought one and I'm kinda of a visual type. I want to see what it's supposed to look like. Thanks.

I presume you saw the picture of the tube itself on Marc's website, but if not here it is. --Bob

Difficult to get a good picture installed since most of it is hidden, but hopefully these help a bit.

It gets tight in the area of the TPS. Make sure your alternator positive is covered. I had no luck installing it with the plenum on. It?s a good piece. Go for it.

OK. I have the plenum loose but the question is this: Does the long end go on the right side of the engine because that's an interesting angle and a long hose to go in. Do you trim the rubber hose on the right side of the engine? Kinda wish I could see the installation process. That would answer a lot of questions.

Marc Haibeck installed the one I pictured above so I'm unsure. I did my own install of this mod on my old ZR-1 over 20yrs ago long before that custom metal tube was offered. I cannot remember exactly how I did it, but I believe I just bought one long rubber hose and ran it from one end to the other underneath the plenum.

The less bent end is the drivers side. Once in place, and before you attach the hose, you use a #2 Philips screwdriver to bend that side down a bit to more resemble the passenger side. As for the hoses, I ended up getting a length of hose at Napa and making some shorter length pieces to fit both sides better.

Oh that's sharp! Great idea to clean that up while it was all apart.
