View Full Version : Clutch hydraulic line nut size?
I need to replace the clutch master cylinder on a car that is 70 miles away. Can anyone tell me what size wrench in need for the hydraulic line fitting that attaches to the master? TIA

A 12mm open end fitted my (just now) and a 13mm ratchet box-end fits the bulkhead nuts.
That said, wouldn't it make more sense to just take a metric set of wrenches and sockets w/ you? (Sounds like you're traveling pretty light - to take the exact (one and only) wrench(es) w/ you!
You also might want to have a pair of needle nose pliers and a hook set in the bag too.
Thanks Paul, just wanted to make sure I have the right size flare nut wrench with me. I dont use open end wrenches on flare nuts when I can can avoid it.

Spend 10 minutes to take the driver's seat out 1st.
Your back and typing finger will thank you...
