Want to buy a 1990 chip that I can change the program. Want to keep the original chip as is. Need one to program fans so the car runs cooler. Thank you,

Tom

Is there a part number for a ‘90 chip? The chips are different at some point. Don’t know if I would have a ‘90 chip or how to identify it.

Give me a shout if no one has one.

Why not obtain a chip from Marc Haibeck ( Zr-1 Specialist)? It piggybacks on your original Chip so orig. is maintained.

There's a fair amount of info here. It at least shows all of the different calibration numbers for each year model.

I did not think Marc still used the adapters. I thought he found they would work loose over time as you could not secure them. I found the same issue with one on my ZR-1

No I haven't waiting for Jeff as I have bought from him before. The shop that is checking the car for me is trying to reach Jerry to see if that works for him. (Aaron Scott is checking the car for me as a group of us are driving our ZR1s to the gathering.) Thank you,
Tom

No Jeff, Aaron Scott is going to kick in the fans earlier plus a bit more HP Aaron did all the work for the company that did my restoration work.

So what's a fair price for one of these now?

So what's a fair price for one of these now?

Depends on supply and demand. Some will charge a bunch, others will charge what they paid. I saw 2 new ones for $300, then a couple others that were $40, but those were for VIN 8

Seems supply is limited.

I just checked Jerrys, he has them for $200.

I know The one I have is a spare that's left over from a parted car but I have no idea if its ever been altered with any changes. I sent a fresh stock chip to Mark when he burned my chip for my car because I figured a fresh chip was best bet.
