View Full Version : 85 mile trip
drove to my buddies house 85 miles, shut car off then tried to restart to move car. Long time cranking, but fired up ran about 15 sec then stopped. Check fuel with good pressure, same thing each time to start car, also check gas for water, no water in gas. any thoughts? John

Did you notice a high coolant temperature? The symptom of shutting down 15 seconds after start sound like a computer shutdown.

Ok, update coolant temp about 93 c.Turns out the FP1 fuse had blown.Did not have the jumper to switch from pri to sec pump to check. Left it sitting on the work bench. So after a few cool drinks (gator aid ) . We then started the kiss system .You know look at the simple things first. And that's the first we did .Allows carry spare fuses;
Thanks
