I went through the forum and there is very little on this modification. I am replacing the rear weather strip as soon as it comes in and I might consider doing the drains at the same time. I also went through youtube as well. If I choose to do this, I don't need to drill into a harness or a panel that goes in the car.

Don't bother....
Why drill 2 more holes in your car?
"Borrow" your Bride's turkey baster
to remove the water that ends up there.
Whether or not you tell her you borrowed
it is up to you...

I use a Sg Tool Aid 14600 Rubber Bulb Battery Filler from Walmart for $4. I keep it in the cleaning bucket and it sucks out the water in those corners. And can be used to fill your fillable batteries!

I would still like to see it being done and where it would be drilled.

Yeah, when I had my Z, I went so far as to buy the drains. When they arrived, I went to install them and just couldn't drill holes in the car. I got one of those rubber bulb syringes for babies and it worked great.

I installed the drains on two ZR-1's and have been very pleased with the set up. I don't have a video, but the installation is straight forward. I used silicone sealant to fix the flared tube in place and it has held up fine for many years.

Can you take a pic of where they are mounted?
