For those who have done a plenum pull and can remember if the EVAP connector that connects the plastic lines to the solenoid and to the plenum and the canister line, did that connector have a plastic tie around the topside of the connector as shown?
Most likely it would be a black tie and not the different color as shown in the pic.
Although it has been mentioned that the MM did not use ties, the few used EVAP lines and connectors that I have seen and the NOS unit recently viewed do have the plastic tie on the connector.
Thanks for your participation.....:)

Imho put ties everywhere possible. Prevent leaks. Keep the vacuum where it belongs.

I have pulled my plenum way to often recently, but I don't believe it ever had a tie rap in that location.

I understand what you are saying, but that is for another discussion. As there may be pros & cons to that thought...
I am just trying to determine those who have done a plenum pull and what was attached or not attached to the EVAP connector. And it is possible that someone may have completed a plenum pull in the past, (such as a PO) and they may have or may not have added or undid the plastic tie if indeed there was even one there to begin with...

If you feel that the plastic tie was not there, please answer in the poll....thx...

Just received an NOS EVAP connector assembly today. As you will notice in the pics, there is a black plastic tie around the connector. And the plastic "lines" fit in the connector very tight. There is even one spot where the "tube" seems to be dented, maybe from when the installer was inserting the tube into the connector...JMO
So IMO this seems to confirm that there was a plastic tie installed from MM when the engine was assembled. Again, JMO.....FWIW...

Jim, from what I remember, this seller did not have many ZR-1 parts for sale.
I think 2 or 3 at the most. I got lucky, as it was a good find...:-D
