Recently purchased my first ZR-1 (90 black w/ red int.) after several other Vettes over the years and need some advice on dash and DIC buttons.
With paperclip I am getting C 13 & H 13 code from CCM but cannot clear because my DIC buttons do not work at all. All fuses look good. No other codes but need help as to should I pull dash apart or??
Also my cluster numbers for mileage seem to be fading as like an old LED watch, is there any one fixing these as I have seen this before on 90 and newer clusters.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Gene

Gene, the buttons on the DIC units will typically go bad. Most of the time, they just fall out. I imagine there is a problem with the circuit board and if you are handy, you could probably fix it. Otherwise keep your eyes open for a used one on eBay. Gm might still have them. The other option is to contact Jason @ Vette2Vette salvage yard. 815.673.6200

Thank you, I pulled dash apart and got lucky as connector had come loose behind buttons! My real concern now is the fading center cluster numbers any help or repair suggestions??
