Suspension: FX3 over ride?

Drivers side shock needs replacing. Actuators have been disconnected before I purchased. FX3 electronics have been messed with and found spliced wires. I'd rather replace the entire suspension and keep the FX3 disconnected or over ride it. Any suggestions on suspension kits that work with the ZR1? Car mentioned here is a 1991 ZR1.

Thanks for the suggestions folks! Just got some Accel injectors ordered, now to tackle the suspension. Can't wait. Pictures to come. You guys on this forum are awesome!

Do the coilovers require modification or are they bolt on? I haven't run into instructions anywhere yet
