Al snapped the splined shaft on the half shaft. They have anything for that?

Comon problem with the big incher's when they find traction....traction compound. Summer's Brothers axles has a great upgrade. Send them your parts they install a larger bearing that houses they're custom made larger splined shaft. They offer it as a custom service.
Or by putting a automatic in it may help ..?

The Summers Bros package if you supplied the spindles and the hub/bearings in '08 - '09 I believe was something near $1000. It was several hundred more with them suppling the parts BUT since the spindles aren't available off the shelf any longer you would I expect only need to supply used spindles. If you had a broken spindle outboard of the u-joint flange I believe they could maybe do their modification using only the u-joint flange. Don't know?

Hell yes, Parts break it is that easy. My unlucky fortune was not user error the u-joints cap came apart at the half shaft. The u-Joint is still intact on the wheel hub.
I am going to do the "402" in the Ruby, Still want to do a TT in the Aerobody. That might be years away though need another car to fabricate all of the plumbing, than switch engines with the Aerobody and send if off for tuning.

Well finally had time to get the driver side U-Joint and Half Shaft installed. Anyone ever see anything like this. There was no damage to knuckle, hub u-joint.

Yes, was doing about 30 MPH in a cruise when it happened. Luckily nothing else was damaged.

Broke splined shaft at the wheel hub.
If you broke the axke at the hub, you probably don't need bigger half-shafts you need a better quality axle.

Kinda makes me want to do an inspection of mine to see if there are any cracks.

These are Spicer half shafts, the only way up from there is T6 aluminum or steel.
