I have seen online that some c4's have rear ends that appear to be off center and this might be a common problem. I have measured out my frame and all is in spec. And the rear end is centered in the frame. But with wheels and tires mounted on the car the drivers side wheel is out 1/4 inch and the passengers side is in 1/4 inch. Is this a common problem? Does any one else have this issue on there car? Its hard to notice unless you really look for it. Is this an issue with how they were built at the factory?

If you took a survey with a sample size of 2 (you and I), GM would have a perfect 100% average. Mine is about the same, maybe a little more so. Same situation with mine. Frame has been verified straight and no signs of impact or damage. It seems to be pretty common with the C4's.

Thanks I thought that might be the case. If any one else has experienced this I would love to here about it. I'm curios how common it is. I'm going to take some more measurements on the frame rack just to see why the issue might exist from the factory.

something you might want to look at is your camber settings on your rear tires .that can sure cause what you see

Come to Bowling Green and check it out it's more common then you think.
Heck i seen it on low mileage ZR-1's

I was just thinking of making a spacer about 1/8" just to make it look right.

Spring sag. Driver side. The composite fiber spring tend to break and fatigue and lean to the driver side where most of the weight is (From the driver).

Its a very common C4 issue
