View Full Version : Recognize this hose??.....

Found this hose floating around loose in the engine bay of my 95.....its only about 6" long and has a flared end like it would just pop into something......I've looked all over for its home without any luck.....any ideas?......found near windshield wash fluid fill....

condensate drain tube from A/C evap. look for a hole in the bottom of the housing, near the firewall.

The flared end should pop into a hole in the lower front of the blower motor housing. The other end should then line up with a nipple on the evaporator case.

I do not think so. I believe this is the Blower Motor Cooling Hose. It conducts fresh air from the plenum to the motor windings to cool the them. Condensate drain is at the bottom of the case, This is on the side.

Is there some way to make sure it doesnt fall off again ? I'd hate to lose it while driving.

Now that its back on it seems pretty snug.....I don't think it will fall off but will be checking it periodiclly.
