Any suggestions on removal, a cobalt drill bit hardly scratches the surface.....will probably leave it to the machine ship.
You have the darndest luck Lee. Go figure......
Sorry 'bout that!

If the head is off, I'd let them put it on a Bridgeport and drill it out and remove it.

This is the head I bought from 8upZR1, nothing of my doing, I am not sure how in the hell he got that in there like that.

well I could talk all day about doing it but I think you might be better off taking it to them and getting it done. I had to do it to a camshaft once.
I tired to get it out and failed so I took it to my local machinist good old dude and he got it out, and it was a new ARP bolt snaped in a LT5 cam.

If you cannot find a local shop that wants to mess with it just send it to me and I'll slapp it on the Bridgeport and do it for free just because I like you Lee. Hahaha! A carbide endmill will go through that cobalt drill no problem.

Thanks for the offer, I am going to take it over to a shop and have it taken out.
