After Mechanic changed the coils, spark plugs, i drove the car for testing, every time i drive the car, the engine stall and die after 4-5 miles, then when i crank the engine, the engine start little bit and move for couple of feet then die, and i have to wait for half hour to start over and drive the car for another 5 miles, then stall and die!!
what the hell is problem anyway?

P.S.This basrad Lie to me begining that he could not drive and test the car, then afer facing him him how he could know the clutch is bad, he told me that he drove the car for 15 miles!! hmm,
he F**k the clutch, but i want already change the flywheel and clutch!
after 3 months leaving the car with him, all i need now the car run normaly without issue.

Hadi,
Sounds like you have a bad primary fuel pump. When the engine is cold, start the engine and just let it run. if it warms up & dies at 176F (I think that's about right), then it is the primary fuel pump.

There are a couple of checks....
Engine cold;
Install fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail,
Pull the secondary fuel pump fuse
Key on
low or no fuel pressure = bad primary fuel pump
key off
replace primary fuel pump

Jerry thanks for info. i will try this tomorrow and let you know.

P.S. He told me that he removed some water from tank, I just put new injectors ,i hope its not bad now?!
the car been parking outside in Snow for long time!.
I replaced the 2 fuel pumps with AC delco last year.

I believe they're in the panel under the glove box.

Open passenger door, look on the side of the dash for the fuse panel. Separate fuse for each pump, primary & secondary.

When started cold, Both pumps work at the same time until engine temperature reaches 176F. After that, the secondary pump shuts off.

Newly replaced means nothing - aka "infant mortality". In fact, I had a new pump with a failed check valve - right out of the box. Nothing worse than assuming (just got a recent refresher lesson in that myself!!). Check functionality and forget about when it was replaced last. WHEN it was new/replaced don't mean sheeeiiittt!! Check um!

Hadi there are 2 fuses the one Feul Pump fuse is on the side panel of the passanger door it will say FP1.
The other is under the dash kick panel passanger side you need to remove the panel it will say FP2.

If you remove the FP2 fuse and your Z does not start then you will have to replace primary pump.

Like Paul said just because it's new does not mean sh!t

Ahhhh, the difference is between early & late model ZR-1's. In my 94, bot fuses are in the panel on the side of the pass door. I'll try to store that for the future. Thanks for the correction Pete.

thanks Pete for that info too......
as i said , my Z need his Orginal Place USA!! so ppl know how to care of it, NOT F**** cheek republic
i left my car for 6 months and the guy has Service manual and he could not find out that the coils were bad!! tell i gave it to last guy,but...

I discover the FP1 were burn. i change it and it run after 176F.
but still i feel there is no pressure as i sudden accelerate,as
engine try to stall.

* My question is, Why the Second pump shut off after 176F. ?
And for example if i switch all 16 injectors, will both pump working??
how the System works?

The secondary pump comes on when the secondaries are activated for full power (all 16 injectors).

No need for the secondary pump to operate during normal driving.

You need to
1. check for stored codes
2. disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes, then re-connect to clear stored codes
3. drive again to re-create problem
4. check & record stored codes
5. bring the info here for review

You probably have a secondary opening problem

Update:
when i drove the car , at cold and after warm up, it seems pumps are bad,and engine stall, not good pressure, then the "service engine soon" came up, is this normal when no fuel perssure this thing "SES" lights??
i thought this thing came only for bad sensors or lossing wires!

question 2:
why both Fuel pump working when car is cold, why not just when you switch Power for 16 inj. ??
i think 1 FP is enaugh for 8 injectors mode and cold drive!
any idea?

Update:
After removing pumps, i checked the Strainer were damged and clearly seen open from the ring. WHY?? look at picture!!
It has been 1 year since these orginal GM pumps installed on my Z.

the dirt and muck block out the main pump inlet port, i clean it, but the pump is already Bad...i think both of them.
So i decided to order new pumps.
I think it will be good idea to replace the Strainer frequently!
Here is some type of Strainer to buy http://store.getgmparts.com/fuel-pumps.html
WHICH TYPE IS THE BEST??

Looks to me like you probably need to clean out the fuel tank too.
