This stuff has been covered many times in detail. With opinions from all, do some work searching the archives on both sites. The modification is give and take.

If it's going to be a daily driver, don't go too aggressive, I instaled a stage II SPEC clutch with a Fidanza and it's a bit harsh upon engagement, not street friendly. Took me some getting use to but love it at the strip. I was told my a member recently that the Center Force clutches are awsome and engagement is smooth as glass.

Jochen I've had two different clutches with the Fidanza. The first was the stock clutch/preasure plate with a centerforce sprung hub disk which I liked. Now I have a Spec stage 3+ with the Fidanza which I like even more. The Stage 3 is different than the Stage 3+. The 3+ is a full face disk unlike the puck disign in the stage 3 so the 3+ engages just like the stock one does but has clamping force for up to 800hp.

I used a stock pressure plate and a Stage 2 disc from Carolina Clutch. over 4,000 miles now and no problems. I like it.

And I can tell you it works great with very little rattle. And you can ask FULLPWR and USAFPILOT. They've both been in my car and can vouch for how little rattle they hear.
