Having recently put on C6 Z wheels and tires, Pete was good enough to also give me a set of lowering bolts. Installed those last weekend so it was time to check and re-do alignment if necessary. Took ZR to Suburban Tire on Lake Street in Hanover Park. Ralph does the alignments with an awesome Hunter machine. Ralph is a Corvette brother,
being the owner of a Briar Blue/Black 1972 LT-1. He added Brodix heads.
Goes without saying, Ralph "appreciates" Vettes and Vette owners.
I would HIGHLY recommend using him for your alignment if you are in the neighborhood. Excellent and THOROUGH service. Ralph took over 2 hours doing the front and rear. Rear wasn't too bad. Fronts were off by 1 and 1.8d. Did a great job. A posting a picture of him and of the before/after alignment specs from the Hunter. BTW, the cost for this was $113. Super.

We used JeffVs street handling spec as close as we could get. Got camber back near spec. Turn in seems more responsive. Tracks nicely!:mrgreen:

=Jeff=,

Not sure if front end was off due to diff wheel offset or if it was due to crap job by NTB shop at Stratford Square last year.

Ralph thought it was off and that it tracked ok because left and right offset each other.

Like =Jeff= said...Easy.

Just gotta grind/drill out the rivets and the new ball joints (got mine from midamerica) come with bolts. Then you can take your Z back to the alignment shop (again) and get those pictures Pete wanted. (No, not you wearing a thong, silly. I mean pix of the alignment process...sheesh!:rolleyes::sign10:)

Pete,

Maybe I'll just drive it out to your place and show you.

I have some before lowering pics, I'll take after pics once I take it off jackstands probably later today. Maybe I can get Jeff to come over and help replace clutch fluid. ;)
