While performing some under hood cleaning I bumped the wire going to my master cylinder it broke at the connector. Can these connectors be obtained at any auto parts store or is there a better source?

I believe that's used on every C4 since 89. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I suspect you'll be getting one from a salvage dealer because it's part of the harness.

Rich,

You may be able to put a new metal female connector on the end of the existing wire and the insert it into the plastic portion of the connector.

Check out this thread concerning the Oil Pressure Sensor connector repair:

Try this site, Repair Connectors Store:

I haven't bought the Mastercylinder connector specifically from them but they may have it.

I have the tools and I might have a spare connector if you need to repalce it.

Thanks Jim, I was hoping to find a site that sold the connectors. By the condition of the plastic shell of the connector, someone has repaired this in the past and not the best job. I found a similar site that sells these connectors but didn't know the type. Are these just called weather pak connectors? I assume there is a special crimp tool with these?
