I have recently been researching my suspension and found that because I have FX3, I don't have the sway bars my build sheet says I should have. Has anyone with FX3 upgraded from 26MM to 30MM front sway bars? If so, has it affected or dimished the performance of the FX3 at all?

I just put a 32 mm on. I'l have to try the suspension settings next time I drive it. I'll get back to you once I do. Where did you find that info? I'd like to look at it.

John,
I found this info on another forum, but I believe it has been discussed on this forum as well. The post stated that even though your build sheet says ZR-1 and Z51, if the car was ordered with FX3 ride control, you got downgraded to stock springs and sway bars. After looking at mine, that is in fact the case. I have 26MM front sway bars and stock springs (they are maked with a code). I'll look for the article and post here.

I've run a 32mm front bar for 2 yrs now. It has minumal effect on the on the ride. The FX3 works the same. Cornering however is flatter than ever if you can imagine that. It does introduce a small amount more of understeer, which allows you to compensate with the throttle. I like it very much. The whole theory of sway bars is to improve handling without adversely affecting ride.

Here's the discussion on suspension from the other forum (CF).
