Default Track Results GLD

Well, i tried and tried but could not get that 10 second pass.

I beat my previous best of 11.09 @ 129.27

Track was a bit slippery.

First Pass: 1.79 11.39 @ 128.45 -------- 4k clutch drop
Second Pass: 1.83 11.43 @ 128.48 -------- 4k clutch drop
Third Pass: 1.57 11.04 @ 128.86 -------- 3.5k clutch drop

On the third pass i backed up and did a second burn out since it was my last warning/pass of the night i was done after that pass.

I tried attaching my first pass video i couldn't get it to work it asks me something about a token.

I can email it to someone if they want to see it/post it.

Pete

Wow! I'd have to say you're there, Pete. Lowering the clutch drop 500 RPM really showed up in traction; reducing the 60' times a good bit. The obvious point is, it is just a matter now of getting the nuances together one time for that final victory run! It's a bummer having to deal with track restrictions too. Who knows what may have happened if you had another run or so?

We're all rootin' for ya!

I think that is just outstanding. So close. You'll be there eventually. What shift RPM's are you at on the 1-2?

I had better luck at 6500 than 7200. #458 ran a 12.53 (air filter & lid, Haibeck chip, Flowmaster and Watson 1 7/8" headers) when I changed the 1-2 shift point. That car had a little more but that was the last run of the day. The clutch was slipping a little when I was leaving the track too.

Wow is right! Congratulations Pete! Those times are stout, the last one is just sweet.

You must have had an ear to ear smile after all was said & done.

Good stuff Pete, Your getting there. 10's are a big number, especially for a Zee! All in the hook huh? I'm shooting for the 2nd single didget number on the totem pole in my Stingray this weekend...went an *.044 last weekend in not great air, so close .
