Would these studs work with 18mm spacer??
Heat-treated 8740 chrome moly studs have a tensile strength of 190,000 psi to handle the shock loads and lateral forces in racing applications. Pack of 5 studs. Lug nuts are sold separately.
Thoughts? Thanks LGAFF 92 ZR1 #234 Last edited by LGAFF; 04-15-2009 at 11:57 PM. |

Re: Would these studs work with 18mm spacer??
You decided to try 18mm spacers?
Measure the backside of the wheel through the wheel to the deepest point of the taper(wheel nut seat), add 18mm for spacer and it looks like you need 18mm to extend "just beyond" the threads of the OE nut. ONLY JUST BEYOND THE THREADS! I believe the aircraft standard is three full threads beyond, that would require something at 23-24mm. (1.5 pitch x 3) |
