It's a sad sad day
The car's two feet in the air, wheels off, and the driveshaft is on the floor.
Oh, and the shifter is in pieces. Of course, all I'm doing it waiting on parts now. Pulled the Hurst outta the box, and the stupid thing doesn't have any bearings. Does anybody know the bearing numbers for the shifter? Oh, and are there five bolts or six in the transmission?

There are 5 bolts that hold the trans to the bellhousing. 2 on the drivers side, and three on the passenger.
On the shifter contact hwo you purchased it through and complain. |

: I thought they were competing companies. And was the box the shifter came in sealed? As far as your car up on lifts: been there, done that! You have been bitten by the mod bug. It will be worth it once its all done. Last edited by tf95ZR1; 10-29-2007 at 08:53 PM. |

Give me the bearing numbers, and we're off to the local bearing house.

Ken, can you snag a picture of the bearings? I installed one not to long ago and had no issues.
