Was There Ever A Good Quality 1/18 Scale ZR-1 Model?
I?ve always wondered why there was never a good quality 1/18 scale model of the ZR-1. The only one I know of is the Maisto, which is of meh quality. For all the years of talk, magazine covers and headlines, I was surprised that the only model of 1990 ZR-1 was the Revell model that I?ve seen is of Morrison?s record run Corvette (it deserved a better quality model!). Was there anything I have missed?
I wish monogram would have updated their 1/8th C4 into a ZR-1. Wouldn?t have taken too much work on their part, and it would have been a sensational model.

Don't know about others, but I had a couple of the Maistos. They were labeled as a '91 in Quasar Blue and I got them for the color when I had my '93 Quasar HIL KING. Unfortunately long gone and I agree the quality was so so but really not too bad and they were what was available so I got them. --Bob
