WTB: Red 1994 or 1995 ZR-1
I'm looking to buy my first Corvette and after much research I have decided the car I really want is a C4 ZR-1. I'm looking for a 1994 or 1995 car in Red. I'm not super picky on interior.
I would prefer to find a car with both roof panels. I'd also prefer a car with an original or reproduction correct windshield but would not turn down the right car with a standard C4 windshield. Looking for a driver...a car with some miles is fine. I'm thinking 50K would be a decent range. I'm more concerned about the car being well kept and maintained. I know these motors can last so some mileage isn't a big deal to me. I do want a car that's mostly original and it does need to have an emissions compliant exhaust. |

A Black '95 with only 819 miles for sale at no reserve on BAT and this site. Also one Red/Red '95 on eBay, with just over 2,000 miles.

I saw both of those online and they are fantastic looking cars. But I'm looking for something with a little more mileage on it. Super low mileage cars are outside of my budget and frankly, I'd be afraid to drive them as to not devalue them or uncover issues they may have due to long periods of inactivity.

Here is a 94 listed today and the right red you wanted. Would not worry about miles, mine has 105K and I would not think twice about driving it cross country tomorrow. Good luck and keep us posted.

Seats are not original. The ZR-1 label on the screen is a simple press in and can be removed. The engine spec label on the console is a stick on and also can be removed. I think both look good and I have the same on my 92. Unless you are going for NCRS, would leave them alone. Seats also look good.

I have made concessions like this in the past and have ended up with regrets every time. The last car I bought I didn't do that...no compromises. I found the car I wanted and paid a little more to get it and I haven't regretted it for one second. I'm taking the same approach here. So, thank you for spotting the link and posting it. I really appreciate it and if anyone spots another one please share it. I will keep looking on my own. I know the right car is out there. |
