Pass side block threaded boss
Maybe a very dumb question, but I’m putting a totally stock 93 motor back together. On the pass side lower front of the block there is a threaded boss. Here is a pic.

Here is a photo of a later block. IMG_0094.JPG And the block side of the EGR mounting bracket. IMG_0096.JPG The center threaded boss is not used for attaching anything. Ah. A phantom hole. I figured that was the case.... don’t know how anything would attach behind that EGR. Thanks phil. How’s you’re beast doing?
