Default New clutch master

I'm once again fixing my red Beast.

The clutch master started leaking. I am going to replace both the master and slave. My question regards the slave. I have read about lots of them having the seal installed backwards. Is this still a problem? I'm not afraid of taking this one apart but would rather not do it if it's not necessary.
It is a genuine GM part #12509313 that I just purchased today.

As always... Thanks for the help.

Thanks Jeff, I'll give him a call tomorrow.

Did you check out the photos of the charcoal? I replaced the canister and blew out the purge line and replaced the purge valve. With two new coils and a set of wires the engine is running very well. Smooth as a... well you know.

Now I just need to get these cylinders installed.
