Default Back Up Light Switch ???

I've verified that the back up switch is not working. ('90 #442) Lights come on when the switch is removed (bypassed) from system.
Anyway, went to find one & discovered GM does not have one of course. Corvette Central & Eckler's have a listing for them, but theirs have a pigtail on them to plug into the harness. I actually called and verified this. As you know, the original has the plug made onto the switch.
Anyone know where to get the correct one, or do we have to go with these?
I think I have heard they might be able to be cleaned up and get them to working again. Anyone have experience with this?
GM part# 10159402
AC/Delco part# D2245A
Corvette Central part# 594347
Eckler's part# 25-112411
Thanks for the help guys.

Yes, once removed you can clean and replace, but I would simply go with the Ecklers version.
Either solution will be fine.
Common problem.

Thanks Marty,
I have discovered that Zip-Corvette has the correct switch. Never done business with them.
Any opinion?

Zip is excellent!
Although I suspect their switch is the same.

The pic they show is correct. I will give them a call tomorrow and check for sure.
Good to know they are a trusted supplier.
AND, I really appreciate the feedback on this forum.

Last resort if you must have OEM.

I am not the seller. I am on my third back up switch. I had a habit of leaving my car in reverse gear. After the second switch, just in case, I park with my gear shift in 1st. I hope this helps...

Thank you secondchance.
I am not so anal that I have to have original parts on everything, but try to get them if available reasonably. I'm going to talk to Zip tomorrow and see if theirs is actually original. If not, I will go with one that is available and clean & test the one I remove for safe keeping.
