Default Forum Constantly Requires Me To Re-Login...annoying

Happens all the time.... especially annoying when I have typed a response and it says I don't have permission and to refresh, when I do, I lose what I have typed unless I have copied it, which I try to remember to do. When I am logged in and click on private message, it makes me log in again.....really? This site is more secure than my banks!

I have been logged in so long (weeks), I likely forgot my password again.
Something must be amiss, and likely on your end.
What browser are you using?

Apparently, just a few others are having similar issues...BUT, I'm NOT one of them (knocking on wood!)

Some preliminary info might help:

Which OS are you using (e.g., Windows, or Apple, or ?)
What browser and version are you using now?
When did this problem first appear?
How often are you having issues?
What security SW is you computer operating?
If you have a smart phone, are you having the same issues with the phone?
Have you noticed the problem occurring more at some times that others?

I'm NOT the one to sort this out, but for the record, I'm using FIREFOX (just updated this morning) and NONE of the 4 computers (make that 6, counting my wife Ami's computers) are not, have not had any of this issue.

Sorry I can't be more help. But, hopefully, one of the gurus on here can shed some light on this, or pull some resources that can. I'm sure I and others would like to know too what the solution ends up being.

I am running firefox, windows 7, ESET security. This has been an issue since I can remember. I don't typically access with my phone. When I check "remember me",....it still forgets. I don't have this issue on the corvette forum.

As I have noted multiple times this happens to me regularly but never on other sites. I have gotten to the point that when it logs me out I just go onto other things. Too bad. Many people (other than Paul) seem to have this problem but no one seems to know what causes it. Only on this website. --Bob

Ok. For comparison, I'm running Firefox on Windows 7 Pro, Kapisky security, on the lap top. Samsung 5 w/ Chrome browser (phone, obviously); no issues w/ either.

So, hopefully someone here can use some of this info (?).

Just as a note, I'm not getting any PM's from forum users with the same issue.

There's been a few others with this issue and I still can't figure out what the issue is or how to fix it. It's driving me nuts

There have been a few comments about how it is in my browser settings.
OK fine what should I change in Firefox to repair this problem?
