SRC Actuators
To adjust the front actuators after the system was driven in Perf mode.
Then shut down the SRC controller by removing the controller's power. What direction do you turn the knob to reach full tour or close to it, while rear shocks are left in almost full Preformance mode. Also is there a stop when you reach full or Tour settings? This is to test front shocks with rear shocks almost in Perf. mode, at the drag strip this weekend, (if it won't rain ). John |

Re: SRC Actuators
It resets itself at start-up.

Re: SRC Actuators
OK , but i want to leave the rear shocks in Performance mode while i adjust
the fronts to their softest setting. When i do this the SRC controller is off line and has no control of the shocks front or rear. So my question is what direction do i turn the gear on the shock to set it to the softest setting and what direction ,clockwise or counter clockwise. Right now the rear shocks appear to be firm when i push down on the rear above the rear tire. The fronts now appear a little softer ,but how far do i turn the gear and is there a stop at fully soft and fully firm position. Also i have no trouble codes for the SRC system ( no power ) to the controller. Cheap way to do this for now, or just buy new shocks front and rear such as QA1's single adjustable to replace the Fx3 shocks (they have over 131,000 miles ). I don't think they are worn out at this time and have never had any work done to them. John |

Re: SRC Actuators
Update:
After a lot of searching on the web i found my answer about which way the gear should be turn to go to full soft. After setting the FX3 to Performance mode, drive car a few miles then removing the SRC controller's power. Drove the car again and no codes appeared. Started with drivers side removed actuator from left front shock and turned gear counter clockwise about 60 deg. to full soft setting. This is on the front shocks only as i did not remove the actuators from the rear shocks. Repeat this again for the pass side. Right now the cars FX3 is set to Performance mode in rear and Tour in front. If the weather holds this weekend i'll do some test n tune at Orlando Speed World on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who offered their input on this subject. John |

Re: SRC Actuators
Been a bit late to this thread but the procedure above is what you do for drag racing with SRC.
Another trick is to disconnect one side of the front stabilizer bar. That also helps the car launch harder. Best to just remove the link on one side. It's not advisable to drive on the street with SRC set that way or the front bar link disconnected.

Re: SRC Actuators
In post #4 i said i didn't think the shocks are worn out, but it bit me. After
setting the left front to full soft (turned gear fully counter clockwise), the right front shock the gear just turns. One bad shock out of three, so to drive the car on street set the left front to full Performance (clockwise) until i replace the shocks. To test the DIY SRC for drag racing , went to the track on Sunday Fun day the 17th . Set front shocks to full soft rears set to full or almost full performance mode. First pass 60 ft 1.704 1/4 mile 11.723 @117.87. left the car in 4th gear (OD engaged) , thru lights at about 5800- 6000 rpm. Second pass 60 ft 1.722 1/4 mile 11.735 @117.50 this time 4th gear (OD disengaged) ,thru lights at about 6000- 6200 rpm. Last pass trans set in 3rd gear 60 ft 1.748 1/4 mile 11.738 @118.23 ,thru lights at about 6100- 6200 rpm (Spun tires off line). Did not get into 4th gear per transmission display on any run. So with front shocks set to full soft and rears full or almost full performance mode, i reduced my 60 ft time almost .020 hundreds. My 60 ft time with SCR engaged in tour were 1.74 to 1.78. no more drag racing until i replace my shocks. Front sway disconnected on all runs. rear tires set to 26 lbs.
