Re: fidanza bolts
Anybody know which of Jerry's release bearings I will need? One is for the OEM flywheel, and one is for a #13 Ram. I've got a Fidanza going in.

Re: fidanza bolts
Steve,
Maybe someone kept records of the specifics, but some tidbits to consider... The ARP FW bolts for the Fidanza are longer than stock. If I recall, when I ordered mine from ARP, the part NO included the longer bolts and the tap necessary to tap the FW pressure plate holes in the FW after drilling them deeper. If you are using a replacement LT4 pressure plate, those bolts will need to be shorter, as the LT4 pressure plate bosses are not as thick as the LT5 PP. So, perhaps w/ the LT4 PP, the stock PP bolts may be long enough...IDK (but a question needing answering). The Veleo is a pull-type TO bearing. The RAM replacement clutch that Bob Gillig presented is a push-type PP, and the TO bearing was a hydraulic 'donut' riding on the transmission nose shaft. Point being, in either case the ZR-1 ZF trans has a larger diameter housing = something to be aware of. Jerry (Jerry's Gaskets) should be of more help on all of this, as well as having the parts. Good luck

Re: fidanza bolts
Thanks Paul. All the parts except the flywheel are coming from Jerry. I figured out the throw out bearing issue. I've got a pressure plate, clutch disc and hydraulic throw out coming from Jerry.
From one of the threads I found, stock is a 1 inch bolt with shoulder. It appears the Fidanza needs a 1.25", technically with shoulder. It appears some just use a grade 8 bolt. I've got a call into Fidanza. |

Re: fidanza bolts
I just spoke to Fidanza, they recommend the OEM bolts. Jerry has them, I'll click the add to cart button.
